I've been wanting to blog for some time now. this time of year, spring and gardening, baby lambs turn me into a April's Fool. Hence the title of this blog.

Seriously, though, I'm into much and sort of need a place to keep track of life and share thoughts.

There will be gardening, sheep raising, scrapbooking, rubberstamping, books I've read and who knows what else. Sometimes there will be a bit of a devotional, not because I'm a good Christian but because I need God in my life so much and every once in a while I feel He whispers, "did you hear that or notice that?". And I actually did hear or notice and I get all excited and want to share.
I lead a Sabbath School class where we are reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. this Sabbath we will be reading I Chronicles chapters 14-20.
There are 2 Scrapbook classes I teach. The first (first Monday of the month) is a trial and error one where I am learning more than anyone, because I'm trying to discover who they are and how they like to scrapbook and see if I can guide them creatively. This will be their 3rd month on a 6x6 scrapbook of their own choosing. And I think they will need help on telling thier stories now. So I've been cramming on different styles. The 2nd class (on the second Monday of the month) likes to make a quick and easy project and then work on something of their own choosing although I've noticed that talking seems to be the extra project and certainly we need community in this crazy world we live in. So this month the project will be a greating card using clear acrylic and alcohol ink and Staz-On ink (a solvent ink).
Then I head the birthday card committee at church where we make birthday cards for all the church members and meet at the end of the month and make cards for the new month. this month I plan on a umbrella and boots card since the theme is popular and I have the stamp set ordered.
